You're not going to find an inspirational story about how 'chocolate changed my life and now I've dedicated everything to it' here. This all started because I was being petty. I saw a distillery release a special bottle of whiskey and had a chocolatier make 4 different flavor bonbons to go with that singular bottle, the flavors accenting the various flavor notes found in the bottle. I thought that was so cool and wanted to sponsor a bottle on a podcast I did and work with a chocolatier to provide our listeners with bonbons to accentuate the flavors. And not a single one I reached out to, not even those that I was referred to gave me the time of day. So I took that personally and started doing it myself. I then learned about spirit infusions and I began to ask why no one was infusing with cocktails. That then became all Sweet Banter Chocolates has become. Chocolate, like pettiness, is sweet.
